K-9 Information

	Ralls County Sheriff's Office K-9 Unit "Jack"

	Jack is 4 year old German Shepherd from Czechoslovakia. He has been working with the Sheriff's Office since May of 2014. He loves working and playing ball. He dislikes criminals and taking a bath.
	Jack was trained by Master Trainer Scott Hedger with VonHenger Kennels in Kingsville, Mo and is certified with Missouri Police Canine Association (MPCA). He is trained in handler protection, narcotic detection, tracking, article search, building search and criminal apprehension.
	Jack and his handler, Sergeant Shawn Leonard, are available, on a limited basis, for demonstrations for school and community groups. All requests for demonstrations are taken on a case by case basis due to Jack’s workload. To request a demonstration please e-mail your request to contactus@rallscountysheriff.com
